He died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9th at the Glasgow Community Hospital after a five months illness. He professed faith early in life and was a member of the Oak Forest Presbyterian Church at Gabe in Green County. He was an employee of the Parker-Kalon here in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Mrs. Lizzie Nelson Marcum December 4, 1965. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Jerry Michael Marr of Campbellsville; Mrs. Donate (Betty Kay) Gentry of Greensburg; two step-daughters and one step-son: David Marcum of Green County; Mrs. Audrey Edwards of Campbellsville; and Mrs. Elizabeth N. Crawley of Clarksville, Indiana. Also survived by two grandsons; four step-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Alvin Marr of Greensburg; Mrs. Garland B! rewer and Mrs. Lillie Milby both of Green County; and a half sister, Mrs. Dennis Scott of Green County. Funeral services were conducted al 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11th in the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Shirley Beard. Burial in Wilson Cemetery in Green County.
