She was united in marriage to Fielden Milby August 15, 1866, who preceded her to the grave by about 40 years. To this union was given four children, namely: Elijah Franklin, Helen Harrison, Terisa, and an infant who died at an early age. "Aunt Fanny" as she was commonly known professed faith in Christ at the age of 15, This faith she held until the last, giving evidence by the frequent testimonies of her assurance of a Heavenly Home. At her death she was a member of the Hodges Chapel Methodist Church of Summersville. To know "Aunt Fanny" was to love her, for she never failed, in spite of her sufferings to be in a merry mood, and very often expressed gratitude of her friends and the kindnesses they showed her. She leaves to mourn her going, two children, Elijah Franklin Milby, and Mrs. Joe Chaudoin of Summersville; twelv! e grandchildren, Mrs. Raymond DeSpain, Mrs. Tom Sharpe, Garland, Arlene, and Joyce Chaudoin, Mrs. Henry Wood Williams, Claude Milby, Mrs. Bob Bloyd, Mrs. Sam Berry, Mrs. June Sharp, Mrs. Jimmy Joe Money and Mrs Fielden Woolridge; 35 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and distant relatives. We feel that her many years on this earth have been a blessing to her community as well as to her family, and her passing leaves many in grief but has made Heaven more complete.
