Graham, son of the late Silas and Mary Lou [Smith] Graham, of Green County, departed this life at his residence on Columbia Avenue, on Monday, February 26, 1951, at the age of 73 years. Dr. Graham had been engaged in the practice of Medicine in Green and adjoining counties for forty years, having graduated in Osteopathy in Demoines, Iowa, and in Medicine at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, in 1911. He was united in marriage with Josie Settles, who survives him, in 1912. To this union were born three, daughters, Eleanor Young, wife of Dr. W. L. Hanawalt, Jessie, wife of Homer P. Simmons, and Mary Lou Graham, all of whom survive. He is also survived by one grandson, Jimmie Stephens, and two brothers, H. J. Graham of Louisville, Ky, and S.F. Graham of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and a host of other relatives in this part of the State. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Miss Lizzie Graham, Mrs. Mollie Gardner and Miss Eliza Graham. Dr. Graham served with disti! nction in World War I, as a First Lieutenant, and was wounded in the Battle of the Argonne. The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church in Greensburg, by Revs. W.D. Owen, Claud Squires and V. A. Jones, in the presence of a host of friends, who loved him and who bore testimony of the high esteem with which he was held by the people of this county, after which the body was laid to rest in the Greensburg cemetery, under the direction of the Greensburg lodge of Masons, of which he had been a faithful member for many years.
