He professed faith in Christ in early manhood and united with the Summersville Baptist Church, later moving his membership to the Greensburg Baptist Church of which he was a member and deacon at the time of his death. A Republican, Mr. Larimore was elected Circuit Court Clerk of Green County in 1915. In 1933 he was elected as Representative from the 30th district composed of Green and Hart Counties. He was also a Deputy Collector of Internal Revenue serving under Collidge and Hoover. During the past six years he was engaged in helping prepare income tax reports for clients over Kentucky. He was married to Minnie Alice Woolridge, January 3, 1905. To this union was born four children, all of whom survive, namely; Mrs. Willis Ford, Mrs. W. R. Gumm, Greensburg, Mrs. Clyde Ping, Somerset, and AIphonso Larimore of Lexingt! on. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. W. E. Burress, of Greensburg, six grandchildren, Douglas Larimore Ford, Greensburg, Theresa Alyce Ping, Somerset, Robert Leslie Larimore, Lexington, Dennis Gumm and Olson Gumm, Armed Forces, and Mildred Gumm, Greensburg, three nieces and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He will be missed as a companion, father, brother, relative, friend and citizen, having served them earnestly and faithfully which was his great delight, and life he loved, yet it was not possible to stay longer. Funeral services were conducted at the Greensburg Baptist Church by the Rev. S. L. Pruitt, assisted by Rev. V. A. Jones and Rev. Abraham Berry. Pallbearers were Bruce Clark, Boyce Hudson, Hugh Howell, Walton Burress, Lee Cantrell and Thomas Horsmon. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
