Mrs Lyle was 91 years of age. She made a profession of faith in Christ and was a retired Green County school teacher having worked for approximately 35 years. She was also owner of the Lyles Market. Helen was united in marriage to Luard Bernice Lyle on April 6, 1935 who preceded her in death on January 23, 1975. Survivors include two sons; William Dellyn Lyle of Mesa, Arizona and Louis Lyle of Green County; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three family friends and caregivers; Rachel Kinslow, Carol Handy and Alisa Frye; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Little Barren Cemetery. Bro. Meryl Young officiated.
