B. Altman and Mrs. Mollie Blankenship Altman of Greensburg, was born September 28, 1908, in Green County and departed this life Saturday, September 10 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. E. M. (Moody) Hancock, January 28, 1930, and he preceded her in death March 11, 1974. Mrs. Hancock is also survived by one sister: Mrs. Zora Belle Calhoun, Charleston, South Carolina; two nieces: Mrs. Susan Rife, Charleston, South Carolina, and Miss Janie Calhoun, South Carolina; three nephews: Edgar Allen Altman, Key Largo, Florida, Randy Altman, Cincinnati, Bobby Altman, Okinawa. Funeral services were conducted at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home Monday, September 12, at 10 a.m. by Rev. James Loy. Burial was in Greensburg Cemetery. Pallbearers were Herman Lile, Abel Beard, Cova Lile, Jimmy Rife, Hut Altm! an, Ray Altman, Robert Buchanan, and George Huddleston. Obituaries of Green Co.
