Hazell, and Maggie Wade Hazell, was born September 19, 1912 in Green County, and departed this life on October 16, 1973 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was 61 years and 27 days of age. He had made a profession of faith early in life. Mr. Hazell is survived by three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Lorene O'Banion, Mrs. Edna Higgason, Mrs. Lucy Bell, and Burr Hazell, all of Greensburg. A host of other relatives and friends survive. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. CST Thursday, October 18, 1973 with burial in the Hazell Cemetery. Rev. Manley Towles officiated. Pallbearers were: Bobby Higgason, Raymond Burris, Todd Gardner, Tommy O'Banion, Pauley McAfee, and Coys Moran. Obituaries of Green Co.
