He was a resident of the Oak Grove community of Green County, and had been a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by 3 foster daughters, Lettie Marrs of California, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 10 am Saturday at Oak Grove with burial in the church cemetery.
