Melvin Martin 94. of 122 Davis Street, Campbellsville, died at 7:20 p. m. Wednesday, May 26, at his home, from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include three sons, Thomas Martin, Cloyd Martin and Vernon Martin, all of Campbellsville; four daughters, Mrs. Twyman Cox and Mrs. Omer Edwards, both of Greensburg, Mary Martin and Mrs. Byron Rogers, both of Campbellsville; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, May 29, at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. C. Woods officiating. Burial was in Brookside cemetery. Pallbearers were Melvin D. Martin, Wallace Earl Martin, Leland Martin, Irvin Lee Martin, Welby Keith Martin and Cecil Rodgers. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
