The dau of William L. And Eliza Scott DeSpain, she was born 15 Jan 1856. She was a member of the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Surviving are 1 sister, Mrs. Lilly Woodward, Greensburg; 2 brothers, Dr. J.E. DeSpain, Elizabethtown, and Rev. B.L. DeSpain, Greensburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at the Dulworth and Keltner Funeral Home by Rev. V.A. Jones, and burial was in Bennett Cem. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
