L. Simpson in the Old Salem community. She was a member of Old Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Other survivors include four brothers, R. H. Hood, Canmer; T. W. Hood, Erlanger, Ky.; D. P. Hood, Louisville; H. K. Hood, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Turner and Rev. V. A. Jones officiating. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hart County. Pallbearers were Richard Simpson, Houston Simpson, Harvey Hood, Marvin Gumm, Sidney Wright and Ola Boston.
