"Pete" White, son of the late Mr. Sam White and Mrs. Dora L. Judd White, was born November 10, 1909, in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at the Jane Todd in Greensburg. He was 89 years, five months and three days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Roxie Leontine Neagle on January 21, 1933, who survives. To this union were born one son and two daughters: Don White of Louisville, Wanda Dickson of Cave City, and Fay Wright of Greensburg. He is also survived by one daughter-in-law and 2 sons-in-law: Elma White of Louisville, James Dickson of Cave City, and J.W. Wright of Greensburg; one sister and one brother: Susie White and Wilson White, both of Greensburg; three grandchildren: Teresa Poland of Ohio, Mike Dickson of Bowling Green, and James Wright of Greensburg; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.! The funeral services for Mr. R.L. "Pete" White were conducted Thursday, April 15, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Ladies Chapel Cemetery. Rev. David Alexander and Bro. James W. Wright officiated. Pallbearers were Gordon Milby, Randall Davenport, Winfred Bonta, Roger Dale Neagle, Wallace White, Ronald "Bub" Bonta and Rual Neagle. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
