He was 49 years. 11 months and 29 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He united in marriage to Miss Virginia Gail Brown on October 9,1970, who survives. To this union were born two sons and one daughter: Larry Douglas Bennett of Hodgenville and Crystal Jean Bennett, both of Hodgenville. He was preceded in death by Joseph Allen Bennett on January 12, 1972. He is also survived by two sisters: Louise Ann Cox and Betty Blakeman, both of Campbellsville; one step-grandson: Jessie Brown of Hodgenville; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Joseph Alton Bennett were conducted Tuesday, February 16, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Bell Cemetery. Bro. Ralp! h Trumbo officiated. Pallbearers were Steve Stone, Stubby Stone, Leon Underwood, Donald Stone, Butch Brown and Stanley Brown. Obituaries of Green Co.
