She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Greensburg Separate Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She united in marriage to George C. "Dolen" Edwards on December 31, 1948, who preceded her in death on October 25, 1994. She later united in marriage to Maurice Sallee on August 11, 2003, who also preceded her in death on January 11, 2004. In addition, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Curry, Losvull Curry, and Lewis Curry; and a sister, Christine Birch. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Rebecca Edwards of Green County; six step-children, Maurice Edward Sallee, Deborah Turner, Sharon White, Danny Ray Sallee, Sarah Harmon, and James Darrell Sallee; a grandson and his wife, Kevin and Pam Edwards of ! Green County; a great-grandson, Brandon Edwards of Green County; five step-grandchildren; two step-great- grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial in Liletown Cemetery. Bro. Meryl Young officiated. Pallbearers: Maurice Edward Sallee, Danny Turner, Danny Ray Sallee, Ronnie Harmon, Lile Thompson, and Wayne Thompson.
