Pruitt and Willie Ellen Morgan. He departed this life on Thursday, March 6 at his home in Edmonton. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a Charter Member, the Founding Visionary and on the Advisory Board of Community Baptist Church. He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. He was an Army Veteran and a life member of James L. Pruitt VFW Post 5813. He was a retired businessman, owner of The Furniture Outlet and Parkway Auction in Glasgow, an antique dealer, and former owner of Greasy Creek Homestead and The Feed Barn Restaurant. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Lynn Pruitt; four brothers, James L. Pruitt, Clyde Thomas Pruitt, David Glenn Pruitt, and Robert E. Pruitt; and one sister, Martha Ellen Thompson. He united in marriage to Jane Lollar Pruitt on March 21, 1964, who survives. Other survivors include one dau! ghter, Libby Hayden, Glasgow; two brothers, Lenn Pruitt and Clifford Pruitt, both of Greensburg; one sister, Mary Helen Thompson, Hartsville, TN; three grandchildren, Jayna Pruitt, Chandler Gossett, and Jocelyn Gossett; and many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Community Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Lile and Rev. Mark Lile officiated. Masonic services were held on Saturday by the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. Interment in Brooks Pierce Cemetery, Pierce Community of Green County with full military honors. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers: Bill Baier, Josh Baier, Brady Matney, Reggie Short, Dennis Tobin, Doug Aaron, Jeré Grinter, Chandler Gossett, and Jerry Bishop.
