Rev. Acie Jones and Rev. John Loveall, Jr., were in charge of the services. The daughter of Lewis and Flora Warren DeSpain, she was born October 24, 1894. She was united in marriage to Lewis Stearman July 14, 1918. To this union one daughter was born. She professed faith in Christ in life and joined the Union Church later moving her membership to the Pleasant Valley Church. Besides her husband, she is survived, by one daughter, Mrs. J. T. Skaggs; two sisters, Mrs. W. T. Skaggs of Mac, and Mrs. W. E. Reed of Hodgenville; four brothers, Roy DeSpain of Hodgenville, Creed, R. H. and William DeSpain ,all of Mac; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dalmer DeSpain, Ralph DeSpain, Bobby DeSpain, Welby DeSpain, Garland Skaggs, Otis Reed, Vernon Reed Carl DeSpain and Boyce Skaggs. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
