She was born Dec, 11, 1923 in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas and Lettie P. Harlan Shepherdson. She married Stanley Beams 12 Sep 1943 in Springfield, and he survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Ronald L. of Roodhouse, Gareth L. of Galesburg and Kenneth L. of Springfield; 2 daughters, Mrs. Skip (Nancy) Bryant of Eldorado and Cindy G. Beams of Jacksonville; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. She was a member of the Hillview Baptist Church. Services will be held at 2 pm Mon at Hillview Baptist Church. Interment will be in Pine Tree Cem. at Patterson. The body will lie in state at the church from 11:30 am Mon until time of services. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 9 pm Sunday at the Mackey-Daws Funeral Home in Roodhouse. Memorials are suggested to the Baptist Children's Home at Carmi. Obituaries of Green Co.
