Rev. V. A. Jones will be in charge of the, services. Burial will be in the Bethlehem cemetery. He will be given a military funeral by the Greensburg Post 324 American Legion. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Coffey made his home in Greensburg until about ten years ago when he moved with his family to Illinois. He served as a member of the Greensburg Police force. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Coffey, he was born in Green County, July 6, 1900. He was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Miss Edna Gordon. To this union one son was born. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Coffey of Brooklyn, N. Y.; son, Gordon Coffey, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Alma Blakeman, Campbellsville; an aunt, Mrs. Willie Coffey, Green! sburg, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ray Shuffett, Austin Simmons, Mays Durham, Carl Hartfield, Colby Cowherd, and Woodson Lewis. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
