He departed this life Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky, having attained the age of seventy years, eight months and two days. Mr. Ford had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Union Baptist Church. He was a disabled retired farmer. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters: Anna Ford and Mary Catherine Ford. He was united in marriage to Odessa Embry Ford, who survives. He is survived by one son: Kendall Ford of Campbellsville, Ky. and two daughters and one son-in-law: Mardena Compton and her husband Steve of Summersville and Cassandra Embree of Hodgenville. He is also survived by five brothers: David, Frank and Tom Ford, all of Campbellsville, Ky., Leo Ford of Indianapolis, Ind. and Marshall (Mont) Ford, of Greensburg, Ky. and two sisters: Dorothy Ford of Campbellsville ! and Helen King of Elizabethtown, Ky., six grandchildren, seven great grand children, plus a host of other relatives and friends. Place and Time of Service: Mt. Union Baptist Church, Green Co., Ky. 1 P.m. Wed., Jan. 23, 2008 Visitation: from 6 P.m. Til 9 P.m. Tues. And after 7 A.m.
