She was 85 years of age. She was a restaurant owner, having owned Lee's Drive-Inn, The Corner Restaurant and had worked at Scottie's Restaurant and C&J Restaurant. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Burkesville First United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Gayron B. Lee; a brother: Marvin Capps and six sisters: Maggie Capps Picartz, Mattie Poindexter, Hazel Mayes, Betty Spears, Dorothy Poindexter and Aileen Abston. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Gary R. and Carolyn Lee of Burkesville and Bobby K. and Leslie Lee of Greensburg; a sister: Nina Norris of Florida; grandchildren: John Garren and Stacie Lee, Lindsey Carol a! nd Devin Devore and Bobby Alexander Lee and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Lee were conducted Feb. 13 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with burial in the Burkesville Cemetery. Rev. Neil Janes officiated. Pallbearers were Rodney Swartz, David Spears, Donnie Wells, Danny Lee, Curtis Turner and John Lee.
