Tuesday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home for Lewis H. Thompson who died at 11:10 p. m. Sunday, February 28 at his home at Pierce, Ky. at the age of 71 years. Rev. V. A. Jones, assisted by Rev. Manley Towles were in charge of the services. Burial was in the Thompson Cemetery. Members of Greensburg Lodge 54 F. & A. M. officiated at the service. The son of the late Richard Thompson and Mrs. Sarah Wisdom Thompson, he was born in Green County, March 28, 1882. He professed faith in Christ early in life. He was united in marriage to Miss Monia Davis on December 23, 1909. To this union two daughters were born. Besides his wife he 15 survived by Mrs. Margaret Houk, Cave City, Mrs. Sylvia Pierce, Lexington; also one sister, Mrs. Monia Myers, Center; two grandchildren. Mr. Thompson was a Mason for 30 years, and was a member of the Greensburg Lodge. Obituaries of Green Co.
