He was a son of the late William L. Young and Mrs. Renda Patterson Young and was born in Green County December 28, 1870. He was a member of Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Bird Young, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hattie Jones, Greensburg, and Mrs. Lucy Houk, Pierce; two sons, Harry Young, Greensburg. and Willie Young, Little Barren; 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grand-children. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Little Barren Separate Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Pepper and Rev. Bloyd. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Denis and Ulis Jones, Lemuel and Sherill Jones, Carmon and Junior Young. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
