He had been ill several months. He was a son of the late Frank Whitlock and Mrs Louise Bagby Whitlock, and was born in Green County March 28, 1887. He was united in marriage to Miss Emma Patterson in 1922. Surviving are two sons, Milby and Demon Whitlock, both of Green County: two brothers, Henry and Roscoe Whitlock, Green County; two sisters, Mrs. Odie Pruitt, Exie, and Mrs. Maggie Lile of Louisville; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Greasy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. V. A. Jones in charge. Burial was in the Sandidge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Jones, Obin Pruitt, Kay Whitlock, Garlin Bishop, Daniel Whitlock and Lynwood Pruitt. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
