She was 71 years, two months and five days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was a retired employee of Union Underwear Company. She united in marriage to Mr. Wilburn "Bill" Bale August 20, 1960, and he preceded her in death February 6, 1998. Mrs. Bale is survived by one brother: Delbert Jewell, Summersville; four nephews and one niece: Danny Jewell, Nashville, Tony Jewell, Greensburg, and Perry Jewell, Summersville, Leon Jewell, Greensburg, and Carolyn Milby, Summersville; an aunt, Betty Davis, Donansburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Jewell. The funeral for Mrs. Anna R! uth Jewell Bale was conducted Monday, September 7, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Aetna Grove Cemetery, Rev. Leslie Jewell and Rev. Gary Duckett officiated. Pallbearers were Mitchell Moss, Dowen Quisenberry, Hubert Wright, Brad Sapp, Allen McCubbins, C.W. Goff, Winferd Berry and Leroy Evans. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
