Warren of Elizabethtown, son of the late Leslie Calvin and Eva Ellen Williams Warren, departed this life Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was 82 years of age. He was a native of Green County, a member of First Baptist Church and worked at Staton Sanitation. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Estella Warren; a brother: Ralph Thomas Warren and a sister: Elsie Mae Neal. He is survived by one son: Larry Warren of Indianapolis; three daughters: Wanda James of Indianapolis, Judith Warren of Springfield, Mo. and Viola Warren of Syracuse, N.Y.; two sisters: Ella Ree Vaughn of Elizabethtown and Geneva Warren of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral service for Warren was conducted Jan. 3 at First Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Green County. Dr. B.T Bishop officiated.
