Ward, daughter of the late Gather Perkins and Nannie Bett Price Perkins, was born June 26, 1912, in Green County and departed this life on June 9, 2000, at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. She was 87 years, 11 months and 14 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Jessie Ward on June 1, 1934, who survives. To this union were born three daughters: Ola Mae McCarol of Greensburg, Adene Milby of Greensburg, and Vernedith Parish of Campbellsville. She is also survived by her step-mother: Gertrude Perkins of Magnolia. Additional survivors include one son-in-law: Jesse McCarol of Greensburg; two sisters: Hazel Neagle of Hodgenville and Gracie Bloyd of Summersville; three brothers: Arthur Perkins of Magnolia, William Lewis Perkins of Louisville, Rev. Daniel Perkins of Magnolia; one step-brother, Ray Milby of Greensburg, and one step-sister: Ora Willya Jeffries of Hodgen! ville. She is also survived by two grandsons: Roy Douglas McCarol and his wife Pam of Greensburg, and David Phillip Milby and his wife Janet of Greensburg. Two great-grand-children: Jonathan Milby and April Milby, both of Greensburg, along with a host of other relatives survive. The funeral services for Cluster W. Ward were conducted Sunday, June 11, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Bennett Cemetery. Rev. A.A. Durrett and Rev. Danny Nelson officiated. Pallbearers were Joe Berry, Bobby Rattliff, Calvin Durrett, Terry Larimore, Barry Ward, Randal Joe Milby and Donnie Vaughn. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
