He was a retired employee of the LaRue County Board of Education and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shoopman Vetter; a daughter, Beverly Vetter of Hodgenville; two brothers, George Robert Vetter and Randall Vetter, both of Campbellsville. A memorial service was held Saturday, December 11 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Dr. Jim Hill and Rev. Chuck Pollard officiating. Donations may be made to Ky.
