Daughter of the late Richard D. Durham and Flossie Patrum Durham, she was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Green County, Ky. She was of the Baptist faith. She had been employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Robert Shuffett, Dr. Robert Simmons and Dr. James Angel before her retirement. She is survived by two sons and a daughter and son-in-law, Mike Denney of Louisville, Jim Denney of Durham, N.C., and Carolyn D. and Lee Harp of Springfield, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Michael Bishop of Greensburg and Mindi Lee of Pleasant View, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Shae Bishop and Mikayla Bishop, both of Greensburg, and Raina Lee and Olivia Lee, both of Pleasant View; a brother and three sisters, Wayne Durham and Margaret Perkins, both of Campbellsville, Barbara Simmons of Greensburg and Marcia Alcorn of Mt. Washington, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. She was al! so preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Ernest Durham and Billie Chapman. Funeral was Saturday, March 22 at Parrott & Ramsey Home in Campbellsville by the Rev. Jim Collison. Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Pallbearers were Skip Alcorn, Larry Bishop, Michael Bishop, Billy Durham, Henry Wayne Durham Jr., Steve Parker and Bobby Simmons.
