Reeves, Versailles, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Ray Reeves and Rosa Mae Roberts Reeves, was born on May 1, 1951 in Taylor County. He joined the Lord on Thursday, February 28 in Versailles. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Versailles and served as president of the Men's Club there. After graduating from Campbellsville College, he made a career with Kentucky Farm Bureau. He began his career working in Taylor County while his father was the agency manager. He was then made the youngest agency manager in Kentucky and given the Woodford County Farm Bureau office in 1973. During his tenure at Kentucky Farm Bureau, he received many awards. He was a board member of the Woodford County Parks and Recreation for 24 years, a board member of the Woodford County Country Club, coached Little League for a number of years, played softball on several Central Kentucky teams, was an avid golfer, fisherman, traveler, and UK ! fan. He united in marriage to Linda Fryman. Besides his wife, Linda Reeves, Versailles, he is survived by two daughters and one son, Jennifer Perkins & husband Wesley, Annie Branstetter & husband Kevin, and Brian Courtney; two grandchildren, Kolton Perkins and Aubrey Rae Perkins; one brother and one sister, Charles Michael Reeves & wife Sue and Nelda Hogan & husband Dr. Dan Hogan; and several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville. A memorial service was held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Versailles. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville was in charge of local arrangements. Pallbearers: Dave Burke, Ken Craig, Tommy Jones, Courtney Roberts, Joe Wallen, Mike Wallen, Steve Wallen, and John Wood. Honorary Pallbearers: Brenda Belcher, Cheryl Denny, Heather Hensley, Jane Hood, Tom Monroe, and Woodford County Far! m Bureau Board of Directors.
