Murphy, Greensburg, Ky., formerly of Louisville, was born December 2, 1896 in Hymond, Pennsylvania and departed this life at 9:30 a.m., March 7, 1975 at the Metzmeier Nursing Home, Campbellsville. She was 78 years of age. She was a member of a Methodist Church in Louisville and was formerly a registered nurse. She had lived in Green County two years. Mrs. Murphy is survived by one daughter: Mrs. Jean Theiss, Greensburg; one granddaughter and one grandson: Lynn and Mitch Theiss, both of Greensburg. The remains were at the Foster-Jones Funeral Home with services at Resthaven which were held at 1:00 p.m. March 8, 1975. Rev. Gene Weddle officiated. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 1975 at the Resthaven Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Weddle officiating. Foster-Jones Funeral Home was in charge of the remains.
