Atwell, 85, who died Friday, December 30 at the Walker Nursing Home in Columbia, Ky. Rev. T. S. Curry was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Atwell Cemetery. Mr. Atwell was born in Green County September 24, 1870, and was the son of the late Thomas Atwell and Mrs. Martha Jane Henderson Atwell. Besides his wife [Linnie Wood Pierce], he is survived by 2 sons, Cody Atwell and Paul Atwell, both of Pierce; and 1 grandchild, Curtis Juan Atwell.
