She was born March 20, 1885, and was united in marriage to A. J. Bell April 29, 1900. To this union seven children were born, two daughters; and five sons. One daughter, Mrs. Bettie Slayton preceded her in death 17 years ago. She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Allendale Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, A. J. Bell; one daughter, Mrs. Virgie Skaggs; five sons, Thomas Bell, New Berlin, IL, Harl and Carl Bell, Louisville, Ky., Earnest and Emmett Bell; Allendale, Ky.; three sisters: Mrs. Icy Vance, Green County, Mrs. Eliza Vance, Taylor County, Mrs. Mollie Ratcliff, Taylor County; 16 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Allendale Baptist Church Tuesday, April 4, and burial was in the fam! ily cemetery, with Rev. McKinly Piece and Rev. Col. Bradshaw in charge. Pallbearers were R. J.
