C. Sartin of Greensburg, died Tuesday night October 7, in the Glasgow hospital. She was 86. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Willow Shade Church of Christ, Metcalfe county. She was widow of J. W. Sartin. A native of Monroe county, she was the mother of the late Avery Sartin, former superintendent of Metcalfe county schools, who died while serving as state representative from the district of Metcalfe and .Monroe counties. Another son, Colonel Basil Sartin, attorney of Wichita Falls, Tex., served in the Army and later as chief justice for the U. S. Civil Administration Court in Germany and Austria after World War II. Besides the sons mentioned, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. M. Frazier, Glasgow, and Mrs. Ervin Garmon and Mrs. Flo Rigsby, both of Willow Shade; three other sons, Herbert Sartin, Marrowbone, Ernest Sartin, Glasgow, and Sam Sartin, Willow Shade, and a brother, W.
