Williams, age 46, of Marion, Indiana, died Friday, February 6, 1998, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Indiana. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on December 18, 1951, and had lived in Marion since 1973. He was a wire spooler at Anaconda. He was a member of the Baptist church. He worked as a hotel manager in Greensburg and worked for four years at the Anaconda plant in Kentucky prior to returning to Marion. He worked as a wire spooler at the Anaconda plant in Marion from 1973-1984. Survivors include his mother: Betty Jean Williams, Marion, Indiana; a son, Bill Williams (Amanda), Marion, Indiana; a step-daughter, Paula Springer (Mark), Marion. Indiana; three brothers, Sherman Williams Jr., Ronald Williams (Debbie), and Jacob Williams (Pam), all of Marion, Indiana: four sisters: Madonna Henderson (Ron), of Marion, Indiana, Mae Coble, Marion, Indiana. Dixie Covey (Roger), of Arkansas, and Maryann Sweat (Rev. Greg), of Marion, Indiana; and a caretaker, Phyllis William! s, Marion, Indiana; one grandson and two step-grandchildren. There will be no visitation or funeral services. The body will be cremated. Memorials may be made to the Center Township Volunteer Fire Department Equipment Fund, Marion, Indiana.
