O.D. Cooper and Mrs. Elizabeth Kelsay Cooper, both of Columbia, was born October 11, 1945, in Adair County and departed this life on Friday, March 27, 1998, at the Alliant Medical Pavilion in Louisville. She was 52 years, five months and 16 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired clerk for Houchens after working several years for the store. She united in marriage to Mr. L. J. Curry of Green County on March 22, 1960. To this union were born one son and one daughter: Jamie E. Curry of Summersville and Lesa J. Robertson of Green County. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law: Carla Ann Curry of Summersville; three sisters and one brother: Phyllis Cooper of Dayton, Ohio, David L. Cooper of Manhattan, Kansas, Connie Karnes of Columbia, and Sherry Burton of Columbia; three grandchildren: Allen, Erik and Bethany Robertson, all of Green County; one s! tep-grandson: Jason Hewitt of Summersville; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mrs. Loretta Cooper Curry were conducted Monday, March 30, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Green County Memory Gardens. Rev. Danny Nelson and Rev. Larry Wisdom officiated. Active pallbearers were Bobby McCubbins, Kenny Lee, David Marcum, Jeff Karnes, Garnett Gupton, Brooks Milby and David Karnes. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Karnes and Dale Burton. Obituaries of Green Co.
