He was a native of Alabama, an Air Force veteran and a self-employed refrigeration technician. Survivors include a son, Charles A. Bowden; four daughters, Wanda L. Bowden of Texas, Charlotte A. Pruitt of Shepherdsville, and Deborah F. and Patricia L. Bowden; a sister, Bette Epperson; a brother, John T. Bowden of Greensburg; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Russman & Sons Funeral Home, 1041 Goss Avenue with burial in the Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Obituaries of Green Co.
