He was 61 years and 12 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He united in marriage to Miss Lula Mae Moss on December 23, 1960, who survives. He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law and one daughter and son-in-law: Greg and Denise Whitlow and Tonya and Steve Shofner, both of Summersville. Mr. Whitlow is also survived by four brothers and five sisters: Thomas Whitlow, Morris Whitlow, Jeff Whitlow, Rodney Whitlow, all of Green County, Louise Bloyd of Elizabethtown, Geneva Bale of Summersville, Nancy Sinclair of Summersville, Brenda Beard of Greensburg, and Elizabeth Parson of Greensburg; six grandchildren: Jonathan Whitlow, Jessica Shofner, Jana Shofner, Joshua W! hitlow, Jacob Shofner and Jillian Whitlow; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Whitlow. The funeral services for Mr. Clyde Whitlow were conducted Thursday, October 22, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Tucker and Bro. Greg Whitlow officiated. Active pallbearers were Morris Whitlow, Thomas Whitlow, Jeff Whitlow, Rodney Whitlow, David Patterson and H.L. Shofner. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Moss, Chapman Moss, Stanley Moss, Mitchell Moss, Michael Moss and Ricky Moss. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
