Dear Karen, Bruce Akin was married to Sallie Stubbs. She was born 15 April 1914, in Taylor. She died 22 Dec 1980 in Adair. Her parents were John Willie Stubbs born 18 Feb 1867 and he died 31 Jan 1944 in Taylor. Mother was Bertha Kerr b 28 Sept 1879 and she died at age 101, her obit mentioning her to be one of the oldest in Taylor county 21 April 1981. Hope this helps.
