Collins and Ruby Odesa (Mann) Collins, was born Feb. 10, 1939 in Jamestown and departed this life Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. He was 68 years of age. He was a musician. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Beverly Collins of Russell Springs; three daughters and sons-in-law: Robin and Dwayne Coomer and Deidra and Ronald Johnson, all of Russell Springs, and Jeanetta and Colin Arthur of Columbia; two sisters: Wanda Bunch of Russell Springs and Phyllis Malone of Jamestown; three brothers: Aaron Collins and Lynn Collins, both of Russell Springs, and Curtis Collins of Jamestown; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Clifton, James and Lester Collins and one sister: Ester Collins, The funeral service for Collins was conducted Dec. 11 at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown with burial in Collins-War! riner Cemetery in Jamestown. Bro. Charles Warren officiated. Pallbearers were Roger Collins, Randy Collins, Tim Collins, Charles Collins, Michael Snow, Jamie Bunch and Donald Deacse. Honorary pallbearers were John McQueary, Audie McQueary, Keith Collins, Sherman Dudley, Larry Johnson and Logan Johnson.
