She was 78 years, 10 months and 17 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. She united in marriage to Mr. Ernest Joseph Welsh on February 14, 1942, who preceded her in death in 1981. She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Jozetta Welsh Stubbe of Hermitege, Pennsylvania, Michael L. Welsh of England, and Douglas Clark Welsh of Richmond, Virginia; one brother: Earl Clark of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Matthew Welsh Benson of Germany, Stephen Clark Benson of Pennsylvania, Sarah Elisabeth Benson of Michigan, Dylan Clark Welsh of Ft. Ruckard, Alabama, and Megan Spencer Welsh of Indiana; one great-grandchild: Ariella Welsh of Alabama; and a hos! t of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mrs. Stella Lee Clark Welsh were conducted Friday, February 19, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Neagle Cemetery. Dr. Arlon Stubbe officiated. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Green County Historical Society.
