On June 5, 1948, she united in marriage to Marvin Warner at Freedom, Kentucky, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters: Susan Alderdice and her, husband Ben of Somerset, and Libby Veling and her husband Gorden of Jensen Beach, Florida; two brothers: Elmore Williams and his wife Margaret Dean of Summersville, and Bill Williams and his wife Diane of Lexington; three sisters: Frances Price and her husband Virgil of Greensburg, Louise Foster of Greensburg, and Mary Eaton and her husband Bill of Louisville; six grandchildren: Ben Alderdice Jr. of Bowling Green, Lauren Elizabeth Alderdice and Whitney Paige Alderdice, both of Somerset, Hilary Veling, Gordon Veling, Jr., and Warner Veling, all of Jensen Beach, Florida. Other than her parent! s, she was preceded in, death by four brothers: H.W. Williams, Milton Williams, Ivan Taylor Williams and George Phillip Williams. Elizabeth was a skilled guidance counselor and teacher in the Pulaski County school system for 30 years. She attended Lindsey Wilson . College where she was crowned Homecoming Queen. She obtained her B.S. and Masters Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and obtained her Rank I from Western Kentucky University. She also owned Warner Gifts and Crafts at Nancy, Kentucky, and she was a member of the First United Methodist Church as well as a past member of Sardis United Methodist Women, a Sunday school teacher, director of Bible school for many years and a lay delegate to the annual conference. While a member at Sardis, she was also the church secretary and treasurer. She was a kind person and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing. The funeral for Elizabeth W! arner was held Tuesday, November 16, at the chapel of the Pulaski Fune ral Home with Rev. Jim Byrd officiating. She was laid to rest following the funeral at the White Oak Cemetery at Nancy, Kentucky. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to.
