She was a daughter of the late William Porter and Nancy Jane Duke Porter. Her husband, German Allen, has been dead several years. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Piper, Miami, Florida; Mrs. Lucy Owens, Texas; a brother, E.A. Porter, Sulphur Well, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Center Methodist Church on Friday with the Rev. V. V. Capps officiating. Burial was in Center Cemetery. Mrs. Allen was known throughout his section for her love of flowers. Her garden was always beautiful with blooms of many varieties. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
