Author: Karen_Jorgensen Surnames: Wright, Tucker, Posey Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kentucky.counties.green/17346/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Mr. Henry Lee Wright, son of the late Mr. Wesley Wright and Mrs. Cora Rodgers Wright, was born March 7, 1919, in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, January 23, 1999, at the Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville. He was 79 years, 10 months and 16 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Maple Hill United Methodist Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Vernice Posey Wright on February 24, 1940, who survives. Mr. Wright is also survived by three children: J.W. Wright and Elaine Tucker, both of Greensburg, and Larry Wright, of Elk Horn. He was preceded in death by one son: Bobby Lee Wright. September 16, 1985. Additional survivors include one brother: Charlie Wright, of Greensburg; five grandchildren one great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Henry Lee Wright were, conducted Monday, January 25, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the ! Maple Hill Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Turner and Rev. John Blakey officiated. Pallbearers were James W. Wright, Wade Tucker, Billy Wright, Wayne Wright, Wayne Tucker, Donnie Wright and Darrel Wright. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
