She was 70 years, six months and eight days of age. Mrs. Wilcoxson had made a profession of faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union. She had taught school for a number of years in Green County and in Pekin, Illinois. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Organization and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She united in marriage to Mr. Julian Wilcoxson December 27, 1972, who survives. Mrs. Wilcoxson is also survived by one daughter and two sons: Lela Ann Krol, Denver, Colorado, Earl Ray Hedgespeth, LaGrange, and Gene Lewis Hedgespeth Summersville; one step-son, Ken Wilcoxson, Sydney, Ohio; 1 brother, ! William Earl Henderson, Summersville; 1 granddaughter, Hannah Jo Hedgespeth, LaGrange, and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral for Mrs. Betty Jean Henderson Wilcoxson was conducted Mon 27 Sep at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Wilson Cem. Rev. Marty Thompson officiated. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund. These may be made at the funeral home. Active pallbearers were John Henderson, Earl Young Henderson, Thomas Henderson, David Sidebottom, Jimmy Sidebottom and Morris Goff. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Tuggle, Harold Lewis Sidebottom, Ray Acree, Frank Wilcoxson, Herman Wilcoxson, Shively Mitchell, Udell Kelly and Clinton Kelly. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
