She was the youngest daughter of the late "Uncle Peter" Cantrell, who lived to be 106. She was born in Green County July 27, 1887, and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church She was united in marriage to Everett Scott. He preceded her in death in 1910. To this union one son was born, Moss Scott. Later she was united in marriage to Jeff Scott, who survives. To this union one son, Rollin Scott, was born. Besides her husband and sons, she is survived by one brother, Robert Cantrell of Lobb; one sister, Mrs. Lee Noe of Allendale; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Aetna Grove Baptist Church with Rev. D. L. Druien in charge, assisted by Rev. Coy Kidd and Rev. Rattliff, Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Cecil Smith, Leon Cantrell, Howard Bradshaw, Vester Scott, Dennis Scott and Marvin Scott. Obituaries of Green Co. Karen: Thank you so much for posting this obituary on my "Aunt Ida". I remember as a child visiting her one rainy night. My father carried us to her house through the red Kentucky mud! I am curious who the other child listed in the 1920 census was? Irvin M. ? A sister or brother's child?
