Daughter of the late J. S. and Lou Ann Glass, she was born March 15, 1879. She was married December 27, 1898, to James Thomas Ball who died several years ago. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Herman Polson, Knob Lick; Mrs. Ray Bacon, Lecta; and Urey Woodson Ball, at home; four grandchildren, Mrs. Maxine Robertson; Marie, Junior, and Ralph Polson; six great grandchildren; also three sisters, Mrs. Roy Smith, Mrs. O. P. Glass, Mrs. Boyd Reeder; three brothers, Clarence, Roy and Rondal Glass. Funeral services were held Friday at 1 o'clock at Cross Roads Presbyterian church, Wisdom, of which she was a faithful member. Rev. J. J. Ogden and Rev. V. A. Jones officiated.
