Funeral services were held March 25 at the home and burial was in the Beams cemetery. Services were conducted by Mr. Vernon Shuffett. He professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Church of Christ at Christian Chapel where he remained a member until death. He was united in marriage to Miss Sally Adena Lany and to this union 13 children were born. Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mary Susan Coop, 6 daughters, Marie Wyatt, Ella Mary, Arccle, Judy, Mae and Brenda Carol and 7 sons, Chester, Taylor Milt, Cornelius, Matthew. Cleditha, Benjamin, Franklin. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Francis Beaty and Burletta Willis; two grandchildren, and two half-brothers, Jim Wyatt and Tom Wyatt.
