The Revs. Russell Taylor and Eugene Gibson officiated. Mrs. Williams ended her life Saturday afternoon with a self-inflicted bullet wound from a pistol. Relatives said she had been extremely despondent since the death of her husband, W. T. Williams, who died last year. Surviving are the following children: Metcalfe County School Supt. Herman L. Williams and H.T. Williams, both of Sulphur Well; Mrs. W. J. Porter, Sulphur Well; Mrs. Austin Simpson and Mrs. Harry Dishman, both of Canmer, and O.E. Williams, Hoopeston, IL; three brothers, J. W. Barrett, Edmonton, D. E. Barrett, Glasgow, and George Barrett, Beechville, and sister Mrs. Lizzie Clark, Sulphur Well; Hattie Oakes, Beechville, and Mrs. Bertha Berry, Greensburg; 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
