P. 4A Billy Gene Hill of Worthington, Texas, son of the late Starley and Mamie Mildred (McMahan) Hill, was born Feb. 1, 1936 in Texas and departed this life Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at his residence. He was 72 years of age. He was an oil field worker in several states. He was an army veteran and a member of Worthington Apostolic Church. He is survived by a companion: Emma Tourangeau of Worthington, Texas; a daughter: Shelba Fullen of Beaumont, Texas; a son: Marcus Hill of Houston, Texas; two brothers: James Hill of Greensburg and Stanley Hill Jr. of New Mexico; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Hill was conducted Feb. 20 at Welch and Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, Texas with burial in Worthington Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Shields officiated.
