Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 66 years, 10 months and 30 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ early in life. She united in marriage to Mr. Willis Fields Thompson October 2, 1954, who preceded her in death October 9, 1996. To this union were born three daughters: Gayle Pennington, Center, and Linda Shuffett, Greensburg. Wanda Sue Thompson preceded her mother in death in 1968. Mrs. Thompson is also survived by two brothers and two sisters: Kermit Greer, Ernest K. Greer and Shirley Cox, all of Campbellsville, and Evelyn Gay Bault, Casey Creek; two grandchildren: Jeremy Lynn Shuffett and Jennifer Gayle Shuffett, Greensburg, and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral for Mrs. Louise Thompson was conducted Thursday, June 11, at the Cowherd and Parr! ott Funeral Home with burial in the Pierce Community Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Trent officiated Pallbearers were Jeremy Shuffett, Terry Stotts, Ricky Greer, Junior Cox, Jason Greer, Brandon Lowe, Lester Thompson, Michael Greer and Bryan Cox. Obituaries of Green Co.
